We are a Policyholder owned company operating on true cooperative principles since 1914. We serve Ashland, Bayfield, Douglas, and Iron Counties in Northern Wisconsin.
We are reinsured through Wisconsin Reinsurance Corporation, Madison, Wisconsin, which has an AM Best Rating of B++.
AM Best is a rating organization which provides ratings of insurance companies based on their financial condition and operation performance. This rating takes into consideration a company's financial strength as well as its ability to meet its obligations to policyholders.
